Daily 5 full body workout

We're now in the summer season of BBQ's and laying by the pool. We need to step up our training to make up for the lazy days of summer filled with beers and burgers. The Daily 5 is done 5 days a week and consist of 5 exercises. 

  1. First up is the run. The run is broken down in 5 minute rounds, we will do 5 sets of fast pace runs for 5 minutes. Remember push this pace like you're in a fight.
  2. Next up is the push-ups we will do 500 push-ups and we will vary hand positions, but the goal is 500 in the least amount of sets possible. 
  3. Pull-ups. 5 max sets in any hand position you choose Switch it up though. 
  4. Abs are up next, we're just going to do 500 reps of a few different abdominal exercises. 
  5. Bodyweight squats are last, and for this we will do 5 max sets of squats with no weight. 

 

This workout is simple, you can break it up through out the day as long complete all the exercises everyday, 5 days a week. After three weeks of this workout you can back off for a week to give your body a break and jump back on it or try another one of our workouts. This will surely give you the chance to eat what you want through out all the summer time BBQ's and still be in fighting shape. 

* For beginners you can start with 5 max sets for push-ups, and you can do them while you rest in between your run rounds.
