This workout is very similar to many of the BUDDHASPORT workouts. It doesn’t require a gym and it will not only get you in fighting shape, but get you shredded as well.
The workout will consist of 300 push-ups, a 4-mile run, 500 core/ab exercises, and two max set of pull-ups.
At the beginning of the run you will do a max set of pull-ups, 100 core exercises*, two sets of 50 push-ups and then start your 4-mile run.
After the first mile stop and do 100 core exercises*, pop back up and start back on your run.
Run a half mile at a faster then normal pace then drop and bang out two sets of 40 push-ups, run another half mile drop and do 100 core exercises*.
Run a half mile try to keep up the same pace as the second mile, drop and do two sets of 30 push-ups, run another half mile drop and do 100 core exercises*.
Begin your last mile even stronger then the others. This will simulate the momentum you'll want to gain as a fight goes on. After a half mile drop and do two sets of 20 push-ups, then finish the last half mile as fast as you can. When you finish do your last set of 100 core exercises*, two sets of 10 push-ups, and a max set of pull-ups.
