Pyramid Push up / Sprint / Pull ups / crunch workout

Pyramids are a great way to increase your endurance, like a few previous BUDDHASPORT.COM workouts, we are doing a little modification to the typical pyramid workout. All you'll need for this workout is a football field, a goal post, and a towel. With the weather starting to break, it's going to be nice to start training outdoors again.

First we will start off at one end of the field, drop down and do 100 push ups in a however many sets it takes for you to get 100. Do them as fast as you can with good form. Once you do your 100-push ups sprint to the other end of the field and pump out 100 crunches. Then run to the other side of 90-yard line and pump out 90 push-ups. Once you’re done with those then run to the other 90-yard line and pump out 90 crunches. You will ladder down 80 and 80 70 and 70, all the way till you get to the 50-yard line. At the 50 you will do a set of 50 of each push-ups and crunches.

Take a two-minute break

Now at the goal post we are going to be doing pull ups with sprints. We are going to do one pull up, then run to the one-yard line, and run back. Now we do 2-pull ups run to the 2-yard line and run back. Then 3-pull ups run the 3-yard line and run back. Do this in a pyramid set up to the 10-yard line and back down to the 1-yard line. You will start and finish with 1 pull up.
