Grueling barbell / kettlebell complex

Many of you have seen the Randy Couture barbell complex, or have seen our version here on BUDDHASPORT.COM. This is a version that will more then likely make you puke if you aren't in some what decent shape. 

For this workout we will be doing 3 to five minute rounds depending on your condition and what kind of fight your training for. You can use kettlebells, dumbbells or a barbell, all you would do is modify the movements. 

In this workout I'm going to use the fat grip barbell and kettlebells. I'll do this workout again with a sandbag, and a plate to show you those modifications of this workout. 

Make sure you have at least 25 yards of walking space in the gym or where're doing the workout. Use just the barbell or put on nothing more then 10's for your first round so you can find a weight that works for your, remember this is a five minute round so there is no need to go heavy, plus your are not putting the weight down at all for the whole five minutes. Keep track of your reps because you are going to repeat them after your 20 yard walk.

You can alter any of the movements as you like, just make sure you keep moving for the whole 5 minutes. I chose to do the same circuit for round 1 and 3, and used kettlebells for round 2. Make sure on your walk down to the repeat part of the exercise you control breathing and bring it your heart rate back down.
