Take home an X games gold medal at the age of eighteen and most of us wouldn’t know what to do next.  That isn’t the case for Mark McMorris who landed a trip to compete in the next worldwide competition in British Columbia, The Redbull Supernatural.  Red Bull has gathered up the top snowboarding talent from around the globe to compete in a backcountry style competition aimed at crowning the “best snowboarder on the planet.”  Eighteen riders from all over the Globe will come together to start this event today and continue through the 8th.  However, the competition will take place on a day that is currently TBA.

This event will be remarkably different than most other competitions as its features are numerous and placed over a large variety of terrain that took all summer to build.  The competition should prove to be very interesting as riders will have the ability to display their skill and creativity against some of the most progressive riders alive today.  Continue to watch for coverage of this event on to unfold in the coming days.
