After a terrible loss to Nate Diaz, in which he was choked unconscious, Marcus Davis had some soul searching to do. It soon dawned on him that he his body type is more suited for a lower weight class and decided the lightweight division was his next move.
Davis reported the news to MMAjunkie, "I'm going to finish out my career at 155 and try to entertain some people along the way before my old ass retires," he said. "I like the opportunities that present themselves."
He is already eying potential opponents such as Sam Stout, Spencer Fisher and Dennis Siver.
With hope, we will soon see a renewed "Irish Hand Grenade" going off inside the Octagon.
